Take the usual measure of Spanish countryside for a backdrop; the viciousness of war; the precision of firing in line; the love for a beautiful woman (two, actually); add a pinch of deceit and betrayal; heroism and chivalry; Irishmen and French troops, and you’ve got all the ingredients for another installment in the adventures (doesn’t seem to be the right term to be using) of Major Richard Sharpe. Of course you should see this.
