It was cute; a fun way to tell a story. My kiddo is well versed in the circle of life, so the ending didn't bother her as much as the abruptedness of it. Haha, maybe she's not quite to that stage of comprehension.

A library book with a library book inside, how clever! A very amusing book, with a more realistic ending...then the author contrasts that with the happy endings children's books usually end with.

This book is hysterically funny. Caution, though: Parents may want to read through this to decide best how to present it to their children. Some kids may be disturbed by it, while others will think it very funny.
