"How many hours are in a day when you don't spend half of them watching television? When is the last time any of us really worked to get something we wanted? How long has it been since any of us really needed something that we wanted? The world we knew is gone. The world of commerce and frivolous necessity has been replaced by a world of survival and responsibility. An epidemic of apocalyptic proportions has swept the globe causing the dead to rise and feed on the living. In a matter of months society has crumbled. No government, no grocery stores, no mail delivery, no cable TV. In a world ruled by the dead, we are forced to finally start living"--Cover, p. 4.

Loving these!! But still no Daryl?!?

loving this is in black and white, most american comics are so cluttered by colour it detracts from the story. Enjoy the series, started reading the comic as I've heard it is pretty different. So far, I'm enjoying this just as much, if not more, it's a better avenue to connect with the characters.

Like the show, this is more about the people living in crisis, than the zombies.

it's interesting to see the comparison between the graphic novel series and the one on tv(missing Darryl). I love this series just as much. Great for us zombie fans.

The best Zombie Story ever that delivers a great roller coaster ride, and excellent characterization. Shows how tough it would be to keep any part of our old selves in world gone Anarchy.
