I really enjoyed reading McElligot’s Pool, by Dr. Seuss. I thought that it was creative and clever, and absolutely loved Seuss’ delivery. The rhyming is always so much fun to read, and I particularly enjoyed this book’s illustrations. The story line itself was very unique and interesting. I love the imaginative nature of the main character, which I think will be relatable to young readers. The imagination adds a sense of wonder to the story, which is always intriguing and enjoyable to read. I thought that Seuss did a great job with this story, and I would definitely recommend that other readers give it a try! @PenelopeScriptor of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library

Funny book

A fantastic Seuss book about the power of believing in "might" and the strength of a young boy's imagination. Love how the illustrations alternate between black and white and colour.
