I know this book is well-rated because people love the Biggest Loser program and anything franchise related seems to become a hit. HOWEVER, I hated this book. It felt like fluff. LOTS of quotes from contestants. Lots of little reminders (nearly all of which I knew, had heard, or were just plain common sense.). And at the end of the day, do I really need to read a "YOU CAN DO IT" book? No, not really. Or at least not in this format, which was strangely organized and lacked flow. I wanted to flip past pages, not sit and read the whole thing. Plus, there's always this Biggest Loser fact that nags at me when I watch the program or see anything about the contestants -- THEY WORK OUT IN EXCESS OF FIVE HOURS EACH AND EVERY DAY! Yeah. Would success really be unattainable to ANYONE who worked out so much? Clearly this book may appeal to someone, but it is not me.
