I guessed who was the murderer early on so no surprises there. I was disappointed that they waited so long for the murder to happen. Reading those recipes and what they were eating, I now know why there is a obesity problem in the U.S.A. One cookie recipe calls for three sticks of butter, and what's wrong with plum pudding.

This was so painful to read. It gets one star for the recipes included in it; its only redeeming feature. The characters are unlikable, nosing into others' business and involving themselves where they don't belong, and the writing is lazy. Over-description of events just to pad out the book is rampant and I couldn't wait for it to end - which it did, in the most disappointing fashion.

Yet another enjoyable title by Joanne Fluke featuring her main character Hannah Swenson, owner of a Cookie store. Hannah seems to always find murder victims and her two beaus, Norman and Mike, help her solve the crimes. Good supporting characters.
