Violence: Many dragons die, and one even rips himself apart. Not for children under the age of 6.
Darkstalker
This story is cool because it is set 2,000 years before any of the books. It switches perspectives from a NightWing with mind-reading, prophecy, and animus powers. There is also a SeaWing who is an animus, and witnesses a sad and gruesome event at the beginning of the book. This also has the perspective of Clearsight, a NightWing with amazing prophecy powers. This book has different reactions based on the people who read it, but Arctic killing himself is kind of gross, and the ending is really sad. I like this book, but it's a little bit crazy.
If I were Clearsight, I think I would have done what she sis in the book. I thought Darkstalker wasn't evil but he did horrible things I thought he would never do. :( Indigo I though was a nice dragon until she met Darkstalker and had body guard training. She married Fathom in secrecy at the end. YAAAAAAAY :D
Clearsight and Darkstalker seam perfect for each other. When with their hearts set on different futures, things get complicated, and a little scary.
"It's not a trick. I just want him to be happy. Don't you?"
-Darkstalker to Indigo, chapter 19 page 227

"Don't give up on me, Clearsight." -Darkstalker to Clearsight, chapter 22 page 259
SPOILERS
"Now. Take your talons, rip open your stomach, and show us what you're really like on the inside. Pour out your life on this stage." - To his father, Arctic

Question:
If this is a prequel then how come he's in the 6th book with Moonrising? I have not read either one yet so that might answer my question. Thanks :)
Yes the summary does say Fatham but the name in the book is actually Fathom.
the summary says Fatham but its a ctually Fathom
Darkstalker, born a crime by his Animus IceWing father- Prince Arctic, and his NightWing mother- Foeslayer. They were never meant to fall in love, let alone create Darkstalker. Born under full moons and inherited Animus powers, Darkstalker is the most dangerous dragon the world will ever see. As he turns greedy for more power, his soul slowly turns white. It is up to A NightWings called Clearsight, and an Seawing animus- Fathom, to stop him from destroying the world....
The only way darkstalker could get more powerful is if he was born under a blood moon
I'm re-reading this book and I'm about half way through it but, it's amazing! I found that Clearsights' character was a bit annoying at the beginning but then she grew on me, just like I remember last time. Fathom would be my favourite character, I think, highly recommend this book!
SUPER GOOD!!!
Is a bit sad but makes you feel sorry for Darkstalker and understand his backstory better. After reading this book I didn't look at Darkstalker to see him as a terrible murderer but someone who had a hard life and was gifted with magic he couldn't handle.
PS.
Whiteout is interesting to read about though she is different, I like her character.
yyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetttt
this is one of my favorite wings of fire book
