After high school juniors Spencer, Emily, Hanna, and Aria think they have seen Ali, their missing and presumed dead friend, they pursue clues from a mysterious stalker, trying to find out if she is still alive.
Heartless is the seventh book in the Pretty Little Liars series. During a school fundraiser hosted at Spencerās house, she gets a text from someone who claims to be Ian, her sisterās boyfriend, saying he wants to talk to her about her friend Alisonās supposed murder. However, when she goes to find him, she finds his dead body in the woods behind her house. After racing back to the house to call the police, they come back to find that his body is gone without a trace, making the whole situation seem scandalous. It doesnāt stop there. More anonymous texts from A, an unidentified person who follows their every move, has been making Spencer, Hanna, Emily, and Aria do things to help them solve the mystery, but at the cost of the bonds they have with their loved ones. I would recommend this book for anyone who loves a good mystery with a bit of high school drama. Out of five stars, I would give this book 5 out of 5 stars. I definitely ship Aria and Noel. They are so cute together! And the way they met/interact with each other/offer assistance and stuff is great. I just found that Spencer's tory was a bit sad to read. She finds out that her dad may or may not have had an affair from A, and her whole family is torn apart. In a way that may or may not be relatable to some today, and it is sad how some people choose to make such choices. Finally, I found the name "Iris" great. It is truly a wonderful name, suited for a mysterious character.

This is my least favourite book of the series. I don't think it would make a big difference to the plot line if you skipped it. Compared to the other books, this was kind of boring.
