I'm going to finish this one because I'm almost done (it's a one-afternoon read) but then I won't be picking up another of Evanovich's books.

While the story is interesting, and enjoyably fluffy, it's also deeply problematic. The behaviour of the male 'love interest' is troubling, and there's no need for it. You can have a fluffy paranormal romance that doesn't support negging, misogyny or rape culture.

Truly silly and basically a waste of paper

Silly likable fluff. I forgot what it's about already. Evanovich might as well be printing her own money.

I have always been a fan the Stevanie Plum novels but this book is not worth trying to read.

Quick fun read!!

Fluffy and fun.

It is slick and funny in typical Evanovich style.. While I enjoy Stephanie Plum, this one is a bit surreal for me as I don't 'do' fantasy very much unless it's a classic. Lewis Carroll, C.S Lewis, Roald Dahl and the more recent addition, J.K. Rowling immediately spring to mind. There's a passing resemblance to the NZ TV series The Almighty Johnsons. In other words 'too'..but...this too would work in the fantasy genre as a TV series.I might even watch it.

This is another fun packed, crazy novel with all the elements that make Evanovich so popular.

I enjoy Janet Evanovich as a rule. I was excited to see a new character as the theme of the book and the writing is classic Janet. The story was getting a little far fetched for me. The thing with Stephanie Plum is that while she is a character of extremes there are so many aspects of her personality that I can relate to. Whereas Lizzy, Diesel and the seven stones (representing the seven deadly sins) are just pure fantasy. Still a good no brainer read but not my favourite Janet Evanovich book.
