Unfortunately, I had never heard of this author nor the movie. *Who knows where i was* But I bought the novel new for a buck and it was the best dollar I've ever spent. I read this in 2 days, only because I was off work with a back injury, otherwise I'd have probably finished it sooner. I enjoyed this book so much I almost hated to see it end. I liked Jake right away as well as Meacham. Percy, I could have slugged that lil slug. But it was still a terrific read and I'm so glad I found this book. 10 stars if possible, but since they're not, I give 5 easily. Happy Reading!

It was O.K for a home TV movie. I was entertained. But it was NOT worth the long library wait or the
price to rent from a Red Box.

The digital copy doesn't get large enough to read on most screens. Shame as I was unable to see any of the text or graphics in detail.

Don't bother checking out this copy, get a physical version from your library, unless you have a monitor with a 20 inch screen.

The graphic novel that inspired the movie. How they choose what to make into movies is beyond me. This is an average comic. The story is decent. The dialogue is decent. The action is decent. Nothing really grabs you about the characters. A quick, fun read if you are interested to see what inspired the movie. I wasn't impressed.
