Willie Nelson is a much better singer (and author!) than actor but I still enjoyed watching Honeysuckle Rose. The acting was completely unbelievable by every character, but as a native Texan, I appreciated the overall feel of the movie. Nothing like Texas in the 1970s/1980s.
