I think this is the worst Brockmann book I have read. Very dissapointed.

OMG! This was a fantastic if dark vision of what the US (and world) could become.
And kudos for the understated sex scene between 2 men!!

Recommend for 17+. Brockmann delivers again. Strong characters, suspense and love relationships - yes, I want them all. I've followed Suz through her Seal Team 16/Troubleshooters Inc books and enjoyed them all...although the series seemed a little slow at first. This is the first book in a new series with a pretty strong start. Enjoyable read.

This is the first novel of a new series by Suzanne Brockmann. Once again, it stars a navy seal, however it is set in the future and features paranormal powers that can be accessed by training the brain to use more of its power and capacity. As usual, her writing is brilliant and compelling with strong female characters and features a committed gay male relationship.

All I can say is WOW. This is the first book of Suzannes that I have read too and if they are all like this I can't wait to read the rest of them.

This is my first book from Suzanne Brockmann and I could not put it down until I finished. I like the fact that there are more than one story running in parallell. I am happy for the outcome of the main characters but would like to know what happens with Bach and others.

I like most of Suzanne Brockmann's older books, but find her newer ones not to be as good. Too many relationships so the characters aren't as well-developed; also the whole Destiny/Greater-Than elements of the plot aren't developed very well. Or maybe I should say they don't feel well-integrated with the characters and plot. All of a sudden something will happen that seems to come out of the blue that is convenient for moving the plot forward but not quite "right".

I love all of Suzanne Brockmann's books and this one does not disappoint.
