Fearless takes you deep into SEAL Team SIX, straight to the heart of one of its most legendary operators.

When Navy SEAL Adam Brown woke up on March 17, 2010, he didn't know he would die that night in the Hindu Kush Mountains of Afghanistan--but he was ready: In a letter to his children, not meant to be seen unless the worst happened, he wrote, "I'm not afraid of anything that might happen to me on this earth, because I know no matter what, nothing can take my spirit from me."

Long before Adam Brown became a member of the elite SEAL Team SIX--the counterterrorism unit that took down Osama bin Laden--he was a fun-loving country boy from Hot Springs, Arkansas, whose greatest goal had been to wear his high school's football jersey. An undersized daredevil, prone to jumping off roofs into trees and off bridges into lakes, Adam was a kid who broke his own bones but would never break a
promise to his parents.

But after high school, Adam fell in with the wrong crowd, and his family watched as his appetite for risk dragged him into a downward spiral that eventually landed him in jail. Battling his inner demons on a last-chance road to redemption, Adam had one goal: to become the best of the best--a U.S. Navy SEAL.

An absorbing chronicle of heroism and humanity, Fearless presents an indelible portrait of a highly trained warrior who would enter a village with weapons in hand to hunt terrorists, only to come back the next day with an armload of shoes and meals for local children. It is a deeply personal, revealing glimpse inside the SEAL Team SIX brotherhood that also shows how these elite operators live out the rest of their lives, away from danger, as husbands, fathers, and friends.

Fearless is the story of a man of extremes, whose courage and determination was fueled by faith, family, and the love of a woman. It's about a man who waged a war against his own worst impulses and persevered to reach the top tier of the U.S. military. Always the first to volunteer for the most dangerous assignments, Adam's final act of bravery led to the ultimate sacrifice.

Adam Brown was a devoted man who was an unlikely hero but a true warrior, described by all who knew him as fearless .

If you like reading about real heros, this is a must read book. Having read American Sniper, which I thought was good, this one is much better. To go from being a crack head to an elite Navy SEAL is a true inspiration.

A really good book that shows how truly dedicated and remarkable are the men whom wear the Seal emblem. Not only does Adam Brown overcome his personal demons through his faith, but overcomes numerous physical injuries in order to pursue his goal of becoming the best. You will not be disappointed in this book, it is one of the best I have read in a long time.

Inspiring story; good insights into the intense competition and brotherhood of the Navy SEALs. Very heavy on the God/church angle, but that was a big part of Adam Brown's life so it's not unreasonable for there to be so much focus on it. He certainly had to overcome a tremendous amount of adversity, some self-inflicted, some not. His family should be very proud of him, and the nation grateful.

This is an incredible story of humility and perseverance. Much, much more than just BUD/S and SEAL team ops. Even better than the more renowned Lone Survivor and American Sniper.

One of the best books. It has a deeper meaning. This man showed what redemption mean, He showed what's grace, and when you have the power of God NO ONE can stop you. What's impossible with men, is possible for God.

One of the best military books I've read and I went out and bought my own copy to read over whenever I need some strength or motivation. Adam Brown is a true hero and the obstacles he overcame to become a Navy Seal Team Six Operator is amazing with his faith in GOD and his love for his family and his fellow Navy Seal brothers. A truly motivating story about one tough brave warrior and his amazing Wife and family.

This is a fantastic true story. It really touched me as I'm sure it did to many, many others. A true story of how a man's faith, family and inner strength got him through one of the most difficult challenges. And not only did he get through it but he excelled and became one of the greatest soldiers on earth.

I would recommend this book to anyone!

This is a phenomenal book. I had a hard time putting it down. True story of a man's struggles with drugs and his ability to rise above and become the best of the best. It is inspiring to learn how he never would quit and how he was a true warrior.
