I could not put down this book for a second. I have never read a story like this before which made it very refreshing. The story was done very well that I felt like I was there in Elysium. You should really consider reading this book.

First of all, how gorgeous is this cover?! I'm really glad that the story inside lived up to it.

So, this was brilliant. Nothing about this book was predictable or felt like it had been done too many times before. The underwold uptopia was so well developed and described that I could picture it perfectly. The story was darker than I thought it would be, (which I loved) mostly due to how creepy "Mother" was. It's hard to write about this without spoiling anything, so I'll just say this is a dystopian novel done right. Can't wait for book two!

This book was just totally unrealistic. And no, I am not talking about the fact that they live underwater (I have no problem with all that futuristic stuff) but....she falls in love with someone that she has been programmed to hate/kill, and has been brainwashed her entire life...but suddenly she finds the power to overcome all that shizz and POOF is a hero? Please. At first I was really into it, but it just got worse and worse as the book went on, and the ending was just so lame.
