While this is one of the most creative films ever made, it is not necessarily my favorite Halloween movie. However, I do enjoy certain aspects of it, such as "This is Halloween, This is Halloween!" and the cute ghost dog, "Zero." I recommend that everyone see it at least once.

In a word; AMAZING. Not many films do double duty as both a Halloween and Christmas film, but "Nightmare" is perfect for both holidays! Tim Burton is pure genius! I can't fathom why anyone would call the songs in this movie "Horrible" unless they haven't bothered to really watch this film. This is a movie that both parents and kids can watch together. No gore or bad language here, but just enough "creepy-ness" and cheer to satisfy everyone!

This is a musical horror comedy for children, with Tim Burton directing and Oingo Boingo's Danny Elfman doing the music. If that isn't weird enough for you, a skull headed dandy kidnaps Santa. I'm weird. So, this all makes it just that much more heartwarming to me.

One of my childhood favorites! I especially loved watching this around Halloween.

The animation is creepy, and even disturbing at times, but the music is surprisingly good. I also can't help but feel the Door Realm is an homage to The Magician's Nephew's Wood Between Worlds.

A lovely and weird delight that holds up extremely well 24 years later. The songs are very singable and the animation is perfect for this kind of story.
