Boring detective book by Amanda Quick. Worth skipping pages if you read it. Or not reading it at all.

Too many repetitions of the words, "paranormal energy", for my liking. Also too many repetitions of what has happened as characters fill each other in, but I as a reader know what has happened and don't need reminders...so kinda ho-hum in parts. An easy book to scan just to see what happens. Likable main characters who, of course, have an instant attraction to each other. Plot revolves around 2 men who want to revive a dead woman, their loved one, now floating in a salt solution for the last year. Really??

This is the second Ladies of the Lantern Street novels. This is Beatrice Lockwood's story. She and Joshua Gage find who is looking for her and who killed her boss. Parts are a bit dark but you know from the beginning that these two will get together. Fun read.

Does my gun fit into my belt? Is it because she is a bride and a bridesmade in one?
