It's not for nothing this is called the cyclist's training bible (and it's gone through five editions, demonstrating its value). Clearly written information on the hows and whys of training, with detailed instructions on how to develop one own's training plan. If you are thinking of taking your cycling from the "pleasant rides around the Seawall" level to "keeping up with others on serious group rides" or even pondering competing, this is a must-have book. After reading the library's copy, I ordered one for myself. I can't see achieving my personal cycling objectives without referring back to this book often.
