Season 3 finds a milder, kinder Cleaver Green, perhaps because this time he starts off in jail. After his conviction is "quashed", (not exonerated), he returns to defending the guilty, and sometimes, the not so guilty. He even figures out a way to defend his son, who is caught smuggling blood diamonds. I really liked this Cleaver who still sleeps around and gets drunk (though no more coke), but also shows his softer side in relationships with his friends and family. A new love interest brings challenges and some comic relief when he tries to impress her, but only succeeds in putting her in the hospital. Just the right mix of drama and comedy as previous plotlines are tied up. Aussie slang is still a challenge without subtitles, but overall, very enjoyable. I just hope this isn't the last in the series!
