Thing about this story was how it covered COMPLETELY typical and often-portrayed teen-novel issues (which, to be fair, are big deals to those involved) - but the style of artwork somehow, refreshingly, made it all feel original. Doesn't mean I like the drama that goes down though - I want to see it resolved. Well, mainly I want Paula to find someone to have a crush on her instead of always on freakin' Emily (ugh, I have so been there) and I want Nigel to come to his senses and go for Paula. Not sure that will happen, but at least there will be weird swirls and flares and patterns in these depictions as we go, and I'm HERE for it.!

And, oh yeah, we'll figure out what happened to Claudia - whatever that's about. I know that this seems like a thing that will be developed in the future, but right now, I'm more concerned with the social dynamics at play than with these kids' flippant speculation on Claudia's obscure whereabouts. It seems that perhaps, depending on the length of this series, this may become a gratifying (and central) plot point later on, but for now, eh.
